A Thermal Camera for the Most Demanding Applications

The WIRIS ProSc is a thermal imaging camera designed for the most demanding applications. Its precision is evident in the orthothermogram on the left, which is composed of 1500 separate thermograms, each acquired by the Workswell WIRIS ProSc and composed in Pix4Dmapper software. The orthothermogram maps an area of approximately 5 hectares (50,000 m²) and was taken by a drone during two separate flights, with a flight time of 50 minutes, from a height of 70 m.

Environmental Insight

Water and plant management influence the local microclimate. Draining and removing greenery over large expanses induces desert climates, especially around cities and fields. This cannot be resolved through purely technical solutions. In this image, you can clearly identify places where landscape drought and consequent loss of vegetation are emanating.

The naked hill on the right above the vineyard, impacted by intense soil erosion, warms its surroundings, and the effects of this heat reach into the vineyard. On the other hand, vegetation to the left of the vineyard has a cooling effect that penetrates the vineyard, which covers approximately 2 hectares.

Calibration for Accuracy

Each WIRIS ProSc is precisely calibrated in our climatic chamber, ensuring accuracy when measuring various temperatures. We have achieved unmatched measurement accuracy in aerial thermography, with a precision of ±2°C or ±2% (±3.6°F).

High Temperature Measurement

For non-standard applications, such as high-temperature measurements, the WIRIS ProSc thermal camera can measure temperatures of up to 1500°C with an external filter.

R&D Software and SDK Support

The Workswell WIRIS ProSc is designed for research and development, offering the CorePlayer SDK with a volume license for 5 users, allowing access to low-level functionalities for maximizing the camera’s potential.

The WIRIS ProSc thermal camera supports 18°, 32°, 45°, or 69° lenses, which are user-interchangeable at any time. Additional lenses can be supplied as accessories, and each lens is calibrated separately.
