Color Interpolation
- For visualization applications, the RAW image stream from the CMOS STARVIS chip must be interpolated before it can be viewed or saved in common formats.
- IC Capture.AS performs color interpolation, reducing the load on the DBK 33UX290.AS’s processor.
- If preferred, the camera can perform color interpolation; this option can be selected in IC Capture.AS, allowing data transfer to reach the camera’s maximum of 143 FPS.
- If color interpolation is not needed, it can be turned off completely, and the image stream is saved in RAW format.
